Break out your best Derby attire, grab your mate or date and watch the big race in style at the Derby Jubilee & Auction Saturday, May 5th at Eastside Bistro, 3461 E. Colonial Drive in Orlando. Your $50 ticket entitles you to live music and dancing, a delicious meal and two adult beverages of your choice. Your participation will help feed homeless elementary, middle and high school students through the Stock the Pantry Program.
Brightside Events, a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, initiated the Stock the Pantry Program after learning that more than 140 homeless students are registered at Audubon Park Elementary, Glenridge Middle and Winter Park High School. The program delivers non-perishable food items to those students and their families just before the spring and summer breaks. The first “food drops” took place March 19; the second is scheduled for May 29.
Prizes will be awarded for the most outrageous and most glamorous hats and the Most Dapper Dude. The Derby Jubilee & Auction will include silent and live auctions where participants can bid on fabulous vacations, spa visits, doggie delights, and much more.
